Role Summary

To develop purchasing and procurement strategy and lead the supply chain strategy within Borr Drilling, to ensure sustained profitability and a safe operational environment, complying with the highest standards of corporate governance.


  • Provide strategic leadership for the Supply Chain function, and provide direction and support to supply chain staff across the organisation.
  • Develop and leads implementation of Borr Drilling’s Supply Chain strategy and policies, optimal resource structuring and utilization.
  • Set standards, monitor and evaluate all purchasing activity to ensure standards are met and continually improved to direct the planning, developing and buying of materials, parts, supplies, services and equipment in a cost-effective manner in-line with the best corporate governance standards.
  • Develop and / or acquires technologies to optimize the company’s purchasing processes.
  • Review supply chain services delivery with internal clients, and takes corrective action to ensure needs are met.
  • Interface with buyers and suppliers to ensure complete and accurate submittals are received and evaluated to meet client deadlines. Ensure awards of contracts and purchase orders are following customer specification.
  • Select, appraise, develop and maintain productive relationships with key international suppliers to ensure the best possible outcomes for the company, including ensuring timely payment of suppliers as per agreements.
  • Develop staff by identifying training opportunities and promotes professional growth and qualifications in the Division procurement staff.
  • Promote the reputation of the company though maintaining good relations with suppliers, the marine community, and the legislative and other statutory authorities in all regions of operation


  • Technical and/or Supply Chain Professional Qualification.
  • 10 years of experience in Supply Chain, of which 5 years’ should be in senior management capacity.
  • Must have experience in building and developing purchasing and procurement strategy.
  • Supply chain experience within the offshore drilling industry is highly preferable.
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written) with the ability to work with internal onshore teams and offshore personnel.
  • Willingness to travel.
