Human Resources Manager BR_027 (Mexico)

Role Summary

Provides support to the Division Management team to ensure delivery of strategic Human Resource objectives relative to recruitment and retention, employee relations, talent pool management, manpower planning, compensation and benefits, learning and development, and labor negotiations.


  • Manage the process of hiring and placement of personnel for drilling rigs and division offices
  • Responsible to develop the workforce planning and associated talent management and staffing strategies across all operating locations
  • Supervise HR Staff within division and provide guidance
  • Ensure division terminations are actioned in accordance to company policy
  • Provide support and advice to division management on all HR matters and activities.
  • Establish and direct recruitment performance and accountability
  • Develop and establish recruiting strategies, systems and processes aligned with business objectives
  • Lead the attraction strategies for key talent pipelines
  • Lead recruitment services including employer branding and proposition
  • Provide recruitment KPI information to division management and corporate as required
  • Assist division management in preparation and submission of Talent Review / Profile information
  • Act as divisional lead in identifying employee development requirements
  • Coordinate timely submission of divisional performance appraisals
  • Liaise with corporate HR department on recruitment, employee benefits, and employee development matters as required
  • Oversee HRIS and ATS Reporting
  • Ensure compliance with all local labor laws
  • Work with Legal, Corporate Compliance and other functions to review and maintain company policy governing employees and contractors
  • Prepare divisional manpower plans / forecast and annual budgets as required
  • Monitor accuracy and timely completion of division crew change schedules
  • Participate in monthly HR communication conference calls
  • Attend human resources conferences and seminars as scheduled
  • Assist with creating or revising human resources policies
  • Travel to other company offices and provide support as required
  • Other duties as assigned by Management


  • College degree in Human Resources or related field from an accredited college or university, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in all aspects of international human resource management
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience working with geographically dispersed and multi-cultural teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite Applications
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role in the energy service industry
