Role Summary

Manage materials monitoring, tracking, analyzing and reporting system of all materials required for and/or used by Borr Drilling, together with ERP support.


  • Understand company requirements of materials whether for the projects or for the rig operations and reflect it on the plans to build and maintain an adequate level of parts and supplies to avoid projects or operations disruption.
  • Monitor procurement activities and calculate cycle time applicable to each location.
  • Review and report materials transactions on a global scale.
  • Monitor fleet inventory levels and report to the corporate management.
  • Maintain track records of historical usage of parts and supplies for analysis and planning purposes (including budget preparations).
  • Follow up on “Cycle Count” process and update system data accordingly.
  • Develop, Review and present cost-benefit analysis of purchased materials and services.
  • Provide support to the field personnel in terms of information required on materials specs, vendors, prices, etc..
  • Monitor obsolete, surplus and over-stock materials, and recommend parts exchange among the fleet units whenever feasible.
  • Check ERP system integrity on a regular basis and communicate with the system support team regarding any system issue or faulty function.
  • Recommend skills improvement training for field OMC’s where applicable.


  • BSc/BA in logistics or relevant field.
  • Proven experience in materials management.
  • Must International experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of inventory management and stock control.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain functions – i.e. procurement, logistics and costing.
  • Sufficient previous exposure to freight and customs work.
  • Strong command of using ERP systems and full understanding of the data flow lines.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English language.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
