Role Summary

Borr Drilling are looking for a Performance/Technical Engineer to provide executive level support to CEO and SVP. The newly established role will monitor and analyze rig performance and trends for the worldwide fleet. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing clear performance results which allow the organization to gain valuable insights into operational performance. We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders across the organization


  • Identify and report trends in performance to Executive management, working directly for the Senior Vice President of Operations
  • Prepare performance as well as future risks and presented to the Executive level management team ahead of periodic board meetings
  • Upload of Procedures, MOC Form and Amendment record in Borr Management System (BMS) Reporting
  • Generate Monthly QHSE, Downtime, and Technical Utilisation Reports
  • Consolidate Monthly / Quarterly Performance Review (MPR) sheets for all Rigs / Region: Prepare Drafts/Collect & Review data from the Rig Managers and send the Final version to all. Consolidate MPR trends sheet for SVP
  • Company Objectives – Collect updates, facilitate material for review
  • Consolidate HSE & NPT slides for the Rigs
  • Generate CAPA/MBWA/BBS Cards reporting
  • Track that SQM (Service Quality Meeting) presentations are done by the Rigs
  • Consolidate Customer Satisfaction review. (PDF & Excel files) & Graphs
  • EHS Focal Point. Ensure NPT and HSE are reported as per operational guideline.
  • Safety Alert CAPA (Corrective Action Plan) Creation in EHS
  • Monitor overdue CAPAs in system
  • Quality Check TourNet Pro Daily Drilling Reporting application and work with rig teams to ensure correct (reports / IADC Codes)
  • Focal point for updating Borr Management System (BMS) Intranet Page


  • A Bachelors degree in Drilling Engineering / Mechanical Engineering.
  • Extensive experience in offshore drilling engineering
  • Experience working with Operator or Drilling Contractor in a Rig Engineer Programme (REP) would be advantageous
  • Highly effective communicator with strong analytical skills and ability to produce executive reports, performance analysis / spreadsheets of high quality.
  • Collaboration skills that enable you to build positive relationships with diverse groups
  • A continuous improvement mindset, you are able to seek greater knowledge and understanding of the systems, process and hazards in the workplace
