Role Summary

The Project Manager will be overall responsible for rig reactivations, SPS, capital upgrade, and unplanned project activity in Borr Drilling. He/she will be responsible to develop project work scope, budget estimate, and timeline meeting the objectives set during project initiation. The Project Manager will provide oversight during all phases of the project to ensure safe delivery of the project objectives in line with budget and timeline.


  • Review preventative/corrective maintenance tasks, inspection reports, surveys and customer requirements, for inclusion in project work scope.  
  • Ensure project work scopes are developed in line with project objectives and meet company, class, flag and client standards.
  • Overall responsibility for safe and efficient delivery of Borr Drilling projects in line with budget/timeline set.
  • Provide project support to rig teams and management during project planning, execution and close-out phases of a project. 
  • Manage project support personnel, sub-contractors, and vendors during all phases of a project.
  • Ensure that technical and rig management is fully informed on all matters relating to surveys, repairs and maintenance of the vessel and provide technical advice or other assistance where necessary.
  • Develop project related KPI’s to manage and monitor project deliverables and ensure lessons learned are captured and communicated.
  • Liaise with Borr Drilling management to update status of project deliverables.
  • Recommend changes to the planned maintenance system, based on observations of machinery and equipment repairs during projects.
  • Participate in annual rig budget review/approval process.


  • 10 years of drilling industry experience
  • Strong Project Management background with experience delivering SPS/Reactivation projects
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written) with the ability to work with internal onshore teams and offshore personnel.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Proactive approach and willing to learn and improve knowledge.
  • Willingness to travel.
