Role Summary
Promote and enforce applicable internal and external governing HSE requirements for shipyard rig activations.
Responsibilities
- Planning and execution of all HSE activities for all shipyard operations.
- Promotion of safety awareness for shipyard operations during rig activations.
- Implement Safe working practices for Borr rig transition operations
- Manage short term safety performance coach (SPC) work scopes during rig activations.
- Conduct safety inspections/audits as per procedures or as directed.
- Conduct investigations as per procedures or as directed.
- The planning and execution of safety drills and musters. as directed
- Conduct coaching and follow up all internal training required during rig activation phase
- Preparation for future rig activations.
- Liaise with vendors for the work scopes that shall include but not limited to, fall protection installation, operational signage installation and IMO signage gap analysis.
- Liaise with each shipyard HSE team for the agreed Shipyard compliance and bridging document implementation.
- Comply with Singapore HSE regulatory compliance, required meetings, audits and reporting.
- Monitor daily operational guidelines ensuring adherence to Borr policies and procedures.
- Non-compliances are promptly acted on and reported to the direct supervisor.
- Prepare rig HSE related procedures in readiness for operations.
- Monitor and ensure Life saving appliances and fire fighting appliances are identified and inspected during rig activation phase.
- Ensure HSE specific stores are aligned with rig activation checklists and operational requirements.
- Ensuring operational readiness of all safety and emergency equipment
- Implement rig transition operational HSE readiness checklist
- Take personal responsibility for own continued professional development and undertake any training as required
- Perform other duties, complete additional tasks and support ad hoc projects as required during shipyard rig activations.
Qualifications / Experience / Attitude & Behavior
- Extensive oilfield experience with at least 2 years shipyard experience shipyard experience
- HSE investigation trained
- HSE trained, desirable NEBOSH qualification
- Strong influencing and negotiating skills
- Ability to develop good working relationships with Vendors through interaction and participation in meetings.
