Health

The health and well-being of our people is of the utmost importance to Borr Drilling. Our crew has access to medical assistance through our on-board medic, a well-equipped clinic, and arrangements to transport personnel to onshore hospitals for further treatment if required. Our focused health campaigns raise awareness among crew with regards to infectious diseases, malaria, heat stress, fatigue, mental health, and general fitness.
Crew wellbeing is not just about physical fitness; their mental and emotional wellbeing is equally important to us. In collaboration with our medical insurance providers and International SOS we provide a 24/7 Employee Support Program to provide confidential counselling, resources, and information to support employees and immediate family through challenging times.

Safety

At Borr Drilling, we continuously pursue the goal of zero harm to individuals by taking proactive measures to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses through effective hazard mitigation and risk management. The safety culture on our rigs is strengthened by the commitment and proactive engagement of our rig leadership. Regular visits from onshore management set expectations, evaluate the QHSE culture onboard, and enhance communication between offshore and onshore. Engaging with our crews, seeking and listening to feedback and making improvements ensures a positive safety culture. Rigorous emergency response, incident management and crisis management plans, that are regularly practiced through drills, ensure that when incidents do happen, they are dealt with in a professional manner to minimise further escalation.
We believe that our operations should not only be efficient and effective, but above all safe and sustainable. That’s why we’re dedicated to a Zero Harm approach and being mindful in everything we do.

Environment

At Borr Drilling, we are committed to safeguarding the environment and take measures to operate responsibly by promoting effective environmental practices. These include environmental impact assessments, stringent administrative and mechanical barriers to reduce the risk of accident spills overboard, inspection and preventative maintenance, and responsible waste management through reduction, segregation, recycling, and disposal. Emergency response plans are in place in the event of a spill, that would be followed up with a full investigation and preventive action.
Our modern rigs are designed and built for zero discharge and containment, to meet and comply with IMO regulations and local legislation in the country of operations.
Objectives and KPIs are set to help identify opportunities for continually reducing the impact we have on the environment.
Our goal is to leave a positive legacy for future generations and to be a responsible and trustworthy partner to our clients.
