Borr Drilling Limited is an international drilling contractor to the oil and gas industry, with the ambition of acquiring and operating modern drilling assets. The industry is currently under significant stress, and we wish to establish a platform upon which we can capitalise on identified opportunities. By uniting record low asset prices with a capable operating organisation, we will take advantage of opportunities in a rapidly changing oil and gas industry. With our fleet of rigs we will deliver safe and high quality drilling operations to our customers.


Simon Johnson



Simon Johnson has worked for several prominent drilling contractors in operational and commercial roles in various locations around the globe. He most recently led the marketing function at Noble Corporation having joined this company in 2010. He holds a Commerce degree from Curtin University, has completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School, is an Australian citizen and is resident in Dubai.

Rune Magnus Lundetræ

Deputy CEO & CFO


Before joining Borr Drilling in December 2016, Rune Magnus Lundetræ worked as Managing Director of DNB Markets. He previously worked at Seadrill Ltd for eight years, serving as CFO from 2012 to 2015. Mr. Lundetræ holds a M.Sc of Accounting and Finance from the Norwegian School of Business and Economics (NHH) and London School of Economics. He is a Norwegian citizen and resides in Oslo.

Svend Anton Maier



Svend Anton Maier has more than three decades of experience within the oil and gas industry. He worked for Seadrill between 2007 and 2016. Prior to this, Mr. Maier worked for leading drilling companies such as Transocean and Ross Offshore. He holds a degree in Marine Engineering from Tønsberg Maritime Academy, is a Norwegian citizen and resides in Oslo.


Erling Lind

Chairman of the Board


Erling Lind holds a Master of Law from the University of Oslo. He has been a partner at Wiersholm since 1987, and is ranked as one of Norway’s most prominent lawyers within the area of shipping and maritime law by Chambers Europe and Legal 500. Mr. Lind has extensive experience from previous and current board positions.

Tor Olav Trøim



Tor Olav Trøim is founder and partner at Magni Partners UK. Mr. Trøim was Vice President and a director of Seadrill Limited between 2005 and 2014. Additionally between 1995 and 2014 he also served, at various times, as a director of a number of related public companies including Frontline Limited, Golden Ocean Group Limited, Archer Limited as well as Seatankers Management Limited. Prior to 1995 he served as an Equity Portfolio Manager with Storebrand ASA and Chief Executive Officer for the Norwegian Oil Company DNO AS. Mr. Trøim graduated as M.Sc Naval Architect from the University of Trondheim, Norway in 1985.

Fredrik Halvorsen



Fredrik Halvorsen is a founder of Ubon Partners, a private investment company focused on technology and growth companies and chairman of Acano one of its core holdings.  He was CEO and President of Seadrill Limited from October 2012 until July 2013 and also worked for Frontline Corporate Services Ltd from October 2010 until July 2013. Prior to this, Mr. Halvorsen held various roles including CEO of Tandberg ASA until the Company was sold to Cisco Systems, senior positions at Cisco Systems Inc. as well as McKinsey & Company.

Michelle Wolfe



Michelle Wolfe is a founding partner at Meritus Trust Company Ltd. She has over 20 years of professional experience in the trust business, and was selected for inclusion on the International Financial Center Power Women Top 100 list in 2014, 2015 and 2016. Ms. Wolfe is a chartered professional accountant and holds a master’s degree in Business and Human Resources.

Investor Relations

Borr Drilling will register shares on the Norwegian OTC market under the ticker BORR. The shares will be tradable on 19 December, and the company intends to list on a reputable stock exchange during 2017.

Quarterly Reporting


Borr Drilling Limited will publish its quarterly results on the company’s website and OTC Newsweb, and will generally hold an open presentation on the same day. Dates, times and venues will be communicated through stock exchange notifications.

Financial Calendar


The company will publish an annual electronic financial calendar with an overview of the dates of events such as the annual general meeting, publishing of annual and quarterly reports, open presentations, etc.
