Role Summary
Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR & Training Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing learning and competency development for the region as well as assisting with mobilizing offshore personnel to their assigned rigs in enough time for crew changes, ensuring that all necessary travel arrangements and documentation are in order. This role will be 70% training and 30% HR / Crew Coordination.
Responsibilities
- Ensure training certification is issued and processed as required by filing certificates and updating training information in the data system, ensuring it is 100% accurate
- Liaise with key offshore personnel to manage and maintain compliance targets in relation to training and competence
- Ensure Minimum Safe Manning Licenses requirements are compliant, including booking of required trainings for the applications’ submissions, as well as liaising with the Flag state authorities and / or filing agents in a timely manner for the endorsements
- Send weekly Training Compliance reports to the Rig Management (onshore & offshore) and HR Manager
- Liaise with training providers to ensure quality of services is delivered
- Schedule training courses, make arrangements for accommodation and transport
- Reconcile training payments and report on a monthly basis
- Mobilising and demobilising expat personnel from worldwide locations, providing adequate crew change details and information
- Book and manage flights with the company travel provider (ATPI), ensuring the most cost-effective choice and routes are given
- Arrange offshore passes, meet / greet and hotels
Qualifications
- College degree and / or Competency-based qualification
- Proven operational experience in training, competency and crewing
- Knowledge of the drilling industry
- Workday, SkillsVX and Mintra system’s experience is highly desirable
