Summary
The Technical Superintendent – Maintenance has overall responsibility for administration of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), and maintenance processes. Reporting to the Technical Manager, the role will be a focal point for the Rig Maintenance Supervisor (RMS) offshore, as well as onshore operations and technical support for guidance on maintenance practices. The position will liaise with technical subject matter experts to define maintenance requirements and conduct periodic auditing to ensure compliance with the Borr Management System (BMS) requirements whilst supporting continuous improvement initiatives. In addition, the Technical Superintendent – Maintenance will assist with providing multi-disciplined support for various departments within Borr Drilling such as Operations, QHSE, Supply Chain, and Marketing. This is a full-time onshore role based in the Corporate Services office in Aberdeen, with ad-hoc visits to rigs and remote locations to fulfil role expectations

- Oversight of supplementary maintenance systems from third parties, e.g. oil sample analysis, inspections
- Accountable for maintenance change request processing, and monitoring of status

- Liaison with Subject Matter Experts for technical input on maintenance change requests
- Implement actions/corrective work orders in the CMMS as part of alerts, advisories and bulletins process
- Liaise with relevant internal and external parties to ensure the spare parts criticality analyses are completed and fit for purpose
- Control of spare parts in CMMS, including lists for equipment, and standard jobs
- Desktop auditing of CMMS for compliance with company expectations
- CMMS build for rigs, optimizing CMMS structure to minimize build schedule
- Training company personnel in CMMS, including development of training material (presentations, user manual, video library)
- Support auditing activities by second and third parties, e.g. client
- Support troubleshooting CMMS issues for maintenance, including organizing required support from CMMS vendor and IT
- Drive continuous improvement of the CMMS
- Assist in providing technical support to offshore personnel as required in resolving NPT (non-productive time) incidents and equipment breakdowns on the rigs, as well as longer term technical issues affecting the Borr fleet

Experience & Qualification
- Degree in analytical subject, e.g. engineering OR vocational qualification in technical area
- Preferred Member of professional body, or qualification, e.g. Institute of Asset Management (IAM), or Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP)
- Administration of CMMS
- End user of CMMS
- Management of maintenance data, including familiarity with ISO 14224
- Asset management, including familiarity with ISO 55000 series
- Maintenance management of drilling rigs, ideally with hands-on experience of equipment on drilling rigs
- Awareness of Supply Chain management
- Awareness of Project management
- Provision of support to internal organization
